The expertise and knowledge of the Kasselmann family and their team not only pave the way for successful young horses but also ensure training all the way up to the premier class: international Grand Prix competition.
With experience and a keen instinct, the Kasselmann Farm stands for the optimal and individualized development and management of every horse.
To set the highest standards from the very beginning, breeding comes before training. Through long-standing partnerships with successful breeders, but above all through our own sources – the Osthoff Stud and Paul Schockemöhle’s Lewitz Stud – we have the opportunity to identify young horses at an early stage and nurture them accordingly.
This is our passion and enables us to train horses bred to the highest standards and bring them to market.

Osthoff Stud Farm
The historic manor has been given a new lease on life. The new businesses provide a solid economic foundation and build on the history of the estate, its buildings, and the unique landscape.
Horse-related services
The internationally renowned Kasselmann Farm from Hagen a. T.W. raises young horses at the Osthoff Stud Farm in accordance with its own high standards of quality. -
Lewitz Stud Farm
Paul Schockemöhle had long been searching for a suitable location to realize his very own vision for breeding. Until then, he had bred horses only on a modest scale – and alongside his own competitive career. That, too, was about to change. His goal: a long-term breeding program for sport horses, built on the foundation of highly successful mare lines and his own collection of sport-proven stallions.
After German reunification, he found what he was looking for in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 1992. With the 3,000-hectare Lewitz estate, his vision became reality – and would set new standards. Where, during the GDR era, over 15,000 head of cattle from five agricultural production cooperatives (LPGs) grazed on endless lush pastures, today around 4,000 mares and young horses live. Approximately 1,000 foals are born here each year.
